District-Required Candidate Information for Our Communications Team

  • Each person filing as a candidate for the Ladue Schools Board of Education is requested to supply the following information in electronic form by noon on Friday, Jan. 12, to Kimberly McKenzie, Ladue Schools Communications Director, at kmckenzie@ladueschools.net. This information will be printed in the March 2024 edition of the district’s newsletter, Link, and posted on the district’s website.  

    • One (1) headshot image, shoulder and above (in front of a neutral background). If you are using your smartphone to take the photo, please turn the camera horizontal. 
    • A biographical statement of not more than 250 words*.
    • A written response to each of the following questions:
      1. Why are you running for the Ladue Schools Board of Education? Answer not to exceed 100 words*.
      2. What do you believe are the strengths of the Ladue School District, and what are your ideas for building on those strengths? Answer not to exceed 150 words*.

    *Submitted biographical statements or written responses will be printed verbatim (the district will not edit unless it exceeds the word limitation). 

    Should a candidate decline or fail to meet the given submission deadline of Friday, Jan. 12 at noon, the "Link" newsletter will be printed without the candidate's information. The candidate section of the March 2023 Ladue Schools Link newsletter will be enclosed in your packet for reference or can be found on our website.

    If three or more candidates file for the two open seats, the district will host an in-person “Meet the Candidates Night” on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at our high school.
