Nine Ladue Middle School students competed in a MathLeague state qualifying event on Nov. 4 at Parkway Central Middle School.

Student participants included Oishi Dasgupta (6), Charlie Fan (7), Aaradhya Gupta (6), Andrew Huang (7), Eren Ozkan (7), Colin McDonough (6), Ashley Tran (7), Brandon Yao (7), and Aidan Zu (8).

Among individual scores, Yao placed first among 7^th graders and Zu placed first among 8^th graders.

In the team competition, Fan, Tran, Yao, and Zu teamed up to take first place.

Additionally, Fan, McDonough, Tran, Yao, and Zu all qualified for the state competition.

The students were coached by LMS math teacher and department chair Hannah Shayer-McLeod.
