Two LHWHS robotics teams battled for the title at the Potosi High School Robotics Tournament on Nov. 4, a VEX Robotics competition.

The team of Kelly Bian (10), Kai Chen (9), Ashvik Chilakala (9), Ben Reiser (10), and Rex Zhu (10) came out on top and won first place (pictured below, top).

The team of Huda Alkilani (9), Natalie Brunworth (10), Mia Chostner (9), and Luca Klyachko (9) took second place (below, bottom).

Ladue’s second-place team also won the competition’s Design Award as voted on by judges.

Both teams are now qualified for the Missouri State Vex Robotics Competition scheduled for March 2024.
