The Ladue Schools team of Gifted Specialists hosted the district’s annual Ladue FIRST LEGO League Explore Exposition on Nov. 18.

Thirty-three teams comprised of second- and third-grade students from the district’s four elementary schools participated in the FIRST, or For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, event.

The FIRST organization and LEGO bring experts in the field of science and technology together to develop a real-world, problem-solving experience.

As part of this year’s event, students explored explored how the arts and technology unite.

Students worked in teams to explore their various hobbies and interests and detailed how they could use technology to share their information with others.

Working together, the students explored the process of learning through research, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

Ladue Schools has participated in FIRST LEGO League for the past 11 years.
