Ladue Horton Watkins High School freshmen Joshua Gu and Eric Mao have earned a place in the All-Suburban Honors Orchestra.

Gu plays cello and Mao plays the double bass; both won a blind audition in a competition against students from all over St. Louis County.

Students will take part in several rehearsals before giving a final concert performance at the St. Louis All-Suburban Orchestra Festival in January at Rockwood Summit High School.
