Ladue Horton Watkins High School implemented the CyberBully Hotline program in an effort to encourage students to come forward and report incidents of bullying, harassment or intimidation.

We focus our efforts on encouraging students to report such issues directly to a teacher, counselor, coach, or school administrator. However, in some cases, a student may fear retaliation or losing the respect of their peers.

Students, therefore, need a way to report issues anonymously, and the CyberBully Hotline is designed to do just that. The school has published the following hotline number: (314) 400-2883.

Students can send a text message to this number or call and leave a voice message.  There is no caller ID on this system, making the report anonymous.

• A school official will check the hotline server once each school day.
• Messages are forwarded to one or more school officials designated to monitor reports.
• The monitors have the ability to reply to text messages and start a two-way anonymous chat.
• The goal is to begin a dialogue with students and initiate a resolution process.

Please note that this hotline does not replace the importance of reporting bullying activity directly to a counselor or administrator. 
 
We want to ensure that each student feels comfortable coming forward to report issues, whether in person or anonymously. Please encourage your student to use all the services that are offered by Ladue Horton Watkins High School to help resolve any issues that he or she may face. 
 
As a parent, you can also report issues. Anything that you think we should know to ensure the health and safety of students should be reported.
